I met one of Nona Hendrix's back up singers on the train singing this song and she invited me to a live show, where I had the honor of meeting the late Sara Dash. I have sang my own cover over 10 years. The song was originally performed by Patti Labelle's former group "Labelle", written by Nona Hendryx, which made the honor even more golden, to have met and sang with her face to face. I was singing in the train one day when a Taiwanese journalist asked to do a story on me. I only participated because it was international coverage and she really showed an appreciation for my craft.

I had a soar throat and a broken guitar string, Just days before I was rejected from "Americas Got Talent" ; but that didn't stop me from performing one of my favorite originals -picked perfectly for the occasion, and its titled "Vietnam blues".
