You might have done it similar but you will never do it the same.

Sometimes these ladies get gassed with compliments just for having long hair or a fat ass. I am here to bring your ego down to size.

Have you ever known the feeling of being number 1 to somebody? In this song Number 1 is about putting someone before yourself. It takes a lot to replace your ego with a partner.

As soon as you get too comfortable with your position, be careful, because someone is always looking to check your ego, when they have a bigger one.

No matter what the world has to say,  I will stand up for you; build you up and never let you down, when it comes to rumors, and secrets. I'm here to protect the confidence that people want to break down.

The ego is always looking to be fed, even when you are not in love and are unconcerned about the infidelity, It is the lies that make you feel disrespected.

Nothing more satisfying than knowing you can turn someone on. When the ego is involved, it allows you to believe that a simple orgasm is a set of wings that only you have the ability to provide.

So actually it's a song about weed, but in this instance... I chose it for the Ego challenge, because my knowledge has come in the form of a higher grade of supplement. When you discover whats really going to put your health on a "higher" plateau, are you crazy or selfish for holding that knowledge back 

Narrated by one of the characters from the Polystylez Universe, the Mad Maxed chronicles details  the lesbian, transient relationship, and  life of a drug using, street vagrant that lives and ends her life on the streets, while becoming a jewel to someone else. It's a rough and unrewarding lifestyle but the lesson is priceless.

One of my favorite messages in a song, that many people will never understand is the value in a black mans life and the power of knowing it, tackled with the challenge of not saying it, in order to protect our ego from being shattered with blame of having too much "ego".  (I probably should've sold this to J. cole)

Much like the ego, this album ends and begins the same way... The ego comes first. I'm the shit... game over.
